The Department of MCA, in association with ExcelR and CSI, organised a workshop titled “Design Fundamentals with AI – Adobe” on 18th March 2026. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of visual design supported by Adobe’s AI-powered tools.

The workshop was conducted by Mr Shashi Kant Dubey, Business Development Manager at ExcelR Edtech Private Limited, Bengaluru. The session began with an introduction to basic design principles such as layout, colour, typography, and composition. Participants were familiarised with Adobe’s AI features that simplify and enhance the design process.

The trainer demonstrated how AI can be used for quick design generation and creative enhancement. Students gained hands-on experience in creating posters, presentations, and social media creatives using intelligent design suggestions. Emphasis was placed on the use of templates and smart automation for efficient content creation.

Interactive activities encouraged creativity and collaborative learning among participants. A group activity involved designing creative posters using AI tools, promoting teamwork and innovation. Participants also explored real-world applications of AI-assisted design techniques.

A review and feedback session helped students refine their design skills. The workshop also included a Q&A session where students clarified their doubts and discussed challenges. Overall, the workshop successfully enhanced students’ creativity, design efficiency, and confidence in using AI-powered design tools.
