A guest talk on “Building Reliable Software Through Testing” was organized for MCA I Semester students on Saturday, 13th December 2025. The session was delivered by Ms. Bhoomika S, Solution Engineer at Testsigma, Bangalore, who shared her expertise in manual, automation, and Agile testing practices.

The talk provided students with a practical understanding of software testing, covering its role in ensuring quality across the SDLC and STLC, along with an overview of manual vs. automation testing, various testing types, and Agile testing concepts. Emphasis was placed on real-time application, industry relevance, and quality assurance in Agile environments.

A live demonstration using the Testsigma tool allowed students to gain hands-on exposure to automation testing, with active participation from students. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students clarified doubts related to testing methodologies, tools, and career opportunities in software testing.
