Practical Low-Code Innovation: A Hands-On Workshop on SKYÉ Platform

The Department of MCA organised a workshop on 4th December 2025 titled “Practical Low-Code Innovation: A Hands-On Workshop on SKYÉ Platform.” The session was led by Mr Vema Venkata Nagasai Phanindra Kumar, System Analyst at VeARC Technology, Bengaluru. The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce students to the fundamentals of low-code and no-code development.

Participants gained an understanding of how rapid application development differs from traditional programming approaches. The session offered valuable hands-on experience with the SKYÉ Low-Code Platform, enabling students to design, build, and deploy functional web applications with ease.

The resource person demonstrated real-time application development, covering key aspects such as data modelling, interface creation, and workflow automation. A live case study illustrated how low-code solutions can effectively streamline and automate business processes in real-world scenarios.

Students also explored features such as role-based access configuration and essential platform tools. The workshop highlighted the scope for innovation and digital transformation through simplified software development methodologies.

It encouraged students to transform their ideas into working prototypes without requiring extensive coding knowledge. The session concluded with a discussion on emerging career opportunities and the growing industry demand in the fields of low-code technologies. Overall, the workshop strengthened students’ understanding of modern development approaches and enhanced their readiness for evolving roles in the technology sector.
