Workshop on “Python programming” was organized by the Department of MCA on 15th November 2018. Dr.A. P. Nirmala, Senior Asst. Prof., Department of MCA organized the Workshop for MCA students and Faculties.
Profile of the Speaker:
Mr. Krishna kumar, Engineering Director, Indium global services Pvt. Ltd. He has nearly 30 years of Industry Experience in various roles, responsibilities, capacities, product development and project experience. He is an energetic manager with strong background in technical software development and QA, who leads with vision and confidence. He Adept and skilled at managing Software and Verification programs from concept through analysis, design, coding, testing and first customer shipment with a reputation of meeting or beating budget and schedule goals. He is well experienced in Product Development, Software Quality Assurance, Services, sustaining engineering, process improvement programs, technical support, managing issues, and problems related with business, development and customer services organizations. He has the ability to create organizations and run them within budgets.
Objectives:
To provide the students with an opportunity to get an insight on Python programming, which are used in a growing applications.
To make the students understand programming and its impact.

Basic understanding of Python Programming
Logical Problem solving using Python
There were around 60 participants. Participants have shown keen interest in learning the concepts, methodologies and gave satisfactory feedback at the end of the session. They also suggested that the duration of the session could be increased so that they may explore in the same.
The session ended with a vote of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Krishna Kumar for taking the time out to educate the students and faculties. The students were interacted with the speaker even after the end of the session.
Outcomes:
The students were given an insight into the relevant real time examples of python programming.
The students were able to understand techniques and tools used.
