SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
Workshop on Developing Intelligent AI Models

On 9 May 2026, the Department of MCA organised a workshop on “Developing Intelligent AI Models” in the MCA Lab for II Semester students. The session aimed to provide students with insights into AI model development, machine learning concepts, and intelligent system design. The workshop focused on enhancing practical understanding of AI technologies through hands-on learning and interactive discussions.
The resource person, Mr. Deepak Chawla, delivered an engaging session introducing various AI tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, and Google Colab. He explained concepts related to AI agents, prompt engineering, and machine learning model training through practical demonstrations.
Students actively participated in hands-on activities involving AI model development and automation concepts. The session emphasised real-world AI applications and data-driven problem-solving approaches. Participants explored the use of generative AI tools for content creation and intelligent solutions. Activities included chatbot prompt development, résumé generation, text summarisation, and AI-based idea generation. Students also learned how AI can be used to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
An interactive discussion session encouraged students to clarify technical concepts and explore career opportunities in AI. Overall, the workshop provided valuable practical exposure and was highly beneficial in enhancing students’ understanding of emerging AI technologies.
