Workshop on Design Thinking
Objective:
A “Design Thinking” Workshop was held in New Horizon College of Engineering campus on 8th February 2020 by SAP. It was held for students of BE, MCA and BCA students to provide a chance to the students to know about various upcoming opportunity and achievements in this field.
About the Topic:
The workshop was one of a kind which touched upon imagination, creation and innovation. The innovative “SAP Design Thinking” workshop was conducted to provide hands-on problem solving for businesses. Developed with the end user in mind, SAP Design Thinking facilitates creative, empathetic, and simple strategy to empower and ultimately customers. The workshop helped to identify unique business problems while conceptualizing deep, innovative solutions.
It began with short introduction by the students after which they were divided into teams for the activity. The activity required the teams to brainstorm and present new innovations. The innovations were created taking into consideration desirability, feasibility and viability. The students were then put across Marshmallow challenge. The activity was all about making the tallest tower out of spaghetti, thread, cello tapes and marshmallow. The activities was about solving problems and unlocking potential in an innovative way. The exciting evening came to an end with mementos being awarded to the winning team.
