VIRTUAL INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO IBM Day-2

Objective:
- To make students understand about Industrial Requirements
- To make students understand about research opportunities at IBM
- To provide the students about the various technological opportunities available to them from the industry perspective.
About Industrial Visit:
A virtual industrial visit to IBM was organized by the Department of MCA to enhance student’s knowledge on advance technology and to give an idea about which technology used in industries.
Here, the students and faculty members were met by Mr. Mekala V Reddy, Project Engineer, who briefed them about the organization and functions of IBM.
The following topics were covered as part of virtual Industry visitat IBM India –
- 45 MinutesTech talk on emerging technologies
- Graduate to Professional: Bridge the Gap b/w Academia & Industry – Mekala V Reddy/India/IBM,
- open talk + Q & A’s.
The session ended with a hearty thanks and question & answer. Students asked about their doubts regarding the topic discussed by the technical officer and how to get an internship in IBM.
Outcome:
- They understood about various job / internship opportunities at IBM.
- They understood about research opportunities at IBM
- They understood the internal working and perspective of an organization.
