OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP:
- To understand the types of cloud services.
- To learn the working of AWS and Google Cloud.
- To create an account on AWS
- To create an instance in EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud).
CONTENTS:
The Department of MCA, New Horizon College of Engineering conducted hands-on workshop on “Exploring Amazon Web Services (AWS)” on the 16th November 2021. MCA students of III Semester attended the workshop and got benefitted. The session began with an introductory address on the speaker by Dr. A.P. Nirmala, Associate Professor, Department of MCA
Mr. Vedanth Ramachandran, the resource person for the session addressed the students. He started the session with the overview of cloud and discussed the types of cloud computing services. He demonstrated the working of AWS and showed the steps to create an account in AWS. He also explained how to create instances on EC2 and the its working. He gave an insight on Google Cloud. He answered the queries from the student. He told that there are plenty of opportunities in the Cloud Domain and there is lot of scope in this field.
