Rendezvous

The event “Rendezvous” was held on 11th November, from 1:50 PM – 4:50PM in the online platform, Google Meet.
Objective:
As our other events, we EDAP club, teamed up to carry forward our agenda of conducting another event in the campus, that gives a brief about the E-designing tools and other technologies in the world.
Content:
“Rendezvous” gave us an opportunity to conduct different levels and rounds that explained and portrayed the importance of E-designing and publishing tools. The entire event was precisely divided into three main rounds. Each round was planned with a purpose of letting everyone quickly learn about the tools that we have in the industry, also with a perspective of testing each participant’s knowledge about existing software.
This program stood as our successful event of this year solely conducted by the EDAP club members from Department of MCA, NHCE.
Every event needs a complete support of the department and as always, we made sure about the involvement of student coordinators and participants. Participants went through the following rounds as part of the event.
Round 1: Rendezvous quiz
The first round, Rendezvous quiz wascompletely a solo event conducted through the online platform,Kahoot. It consists of 25 basic technical questions related to html ,CSS and bootstrap. Participants were giving with 30 seconds for each question. So the total time taken for the quiz was 13 min. After completion of the quiz top 20 rank holder were shortlisted for the next round.
Round 2: EncryptoDecrypto
The second round, EncryptoDecrypto was conducted through google forms, in which participants were asked to solve 5 questions which were based on guessing the logo and then decodingof hints by choosing thecorrect option. The participants were shortlisted based on their performance on completing maximum number of questions.
Round 3: Spooktacular
The third round, Spooktacular was conducted using the platform Ms paint, in which participants were given 6 questions with a time limit of 30 minutes. Participants were requested to design based on the themes mentioned “Halloween”.In the end top two designs were selected and declared as winners.
