CYBERCRIMES ON CLOUD PLATFORMS
Department of Master of Computer Applications had organized a hands on workshop on Cybercrime on Cloud Platforms. The expert speaker for the day Mr. Vedanth Ramachandran, currently working as WFM Real-time Analyst in Amazon Development Center, India also an alumni (Batch 2017 – 2020) of MCA department addressed the students on different services available in cloud computing such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. Various cyber threats such as cybersquatting, password sniffing, Denial of Service, Phishing were discussed.
The speaker gave an overview of Distributed Denial of Service attacks and demonstrated on how DDoS attacks are launched in Cloud platforms. The speaker also demonstrated on data diddling in cloud environment.
