Alumni Talk was focused on “Exploring AWS Cloud and DevOps,” Mr. Aravind M, the speaker of the day delved into the essentials of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and various AWS services such as EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), Lambda Function, and CloudFormation. Notably, he demonstrated the deployment of a static website using both an AWS EC2 instance and Lambda function. The speaker also provided insights into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows, elucidating their role in AWS and DevOps practices. Furthermore, Mr. Aravind M shed light on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and its importance. The session concluded with valuable advice for beginners venturing into the realm of cloud computing.
