The Department of MCA successfully organised an expert talk on 16 May 2026 on “Cloud-Based Enterprise Integration Using SAP CPI” to introduce students to modern enterprise integration techniques. The session was designed to provide valuable insights into the integration of enterprise applications and business processes using cloud technologies.

The resource person for the session was Ms Bilasi Lenka J, Software Analyst at Capgemini. She was introduced by Mr Channaveer, a second-semester MCA student. Drawing from her professional experience in SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO, and enterprise integration projects, Ms Bilasi shared practical knowledge and industry perspectives with the participants.

During the session, she explained how SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) enables seamless communication between systems and enhances business connectivity. The discussion covered key topics such as enterprise integration, SAP CPI architecture, integration flows, and API management. Students also gained an understanding of data mapping, transformation techniques, and secure communication methods used in modern integration environments.

The speaker highlighted the importance of monitoring tools and effective error-handling mechanisms in maintaining reliable and efficient integration processes. Real-world industry examples and project scenarios helped students understand the practical application of SAP CPI in enterprise environments and reinforced their understanding of the concepts discussed.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment and a quiz activity, which encouraged active participation and critical thinking among students. Overall, the expert talk provided valuable exposure to cloud-based enterprise integration and significantly enhanced students’ understanding of SAP CPI and its role in real-world business operations.
