The Department of MCA organized a hands-on workshop on Supabase Essentials & The Path to Full Stack Engineering on 8th December 2025. The session was conducted by Ms. Pallavi S, Full Stack Engineer at Maksasoft, Bangalore. The workshop aimed to introduce Supabase as an open-source alternative to Firebase for modern application development. Participants were guided through Supabase’s core architecture and project setup. The session included practical demonstrations of PostgreSQL database management within Supabase. Authentication and user management features were explained with real-time examples. API generation and handling of real-time data were covered in detail. Storage management and file handling using Supabase were demonstrated.
