NHCE IIC, in collaboration with the Department of Master of Computer Applications, organized a workshop on “Accelerators/Incubation – Opportunities for Students and Faculty” on 09/07/2025. The resource person, Prof. Shivumanjesh P from Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore, led the session.

The workshop aimed to introduce students and faculty to the world of accelerators and incubators. It provided insights into how these platforms can support the transformation of ideas into successful ventures. Participants learned about the startup ecosystem and the role of institutional and external support systems. The session emphasized the importance of protecting creative ideas through proper channels. Students were guided through the steps involved in converting innovative concepts into viable business models.

Faculty members were encouraged to collaborate with students on innovation-driven projects. The workshop highlighted the value of cross-disciplinary teamwork and strategic partnerships. By the end of the session, attendees were better equipped to engage with the entrepreneurial ecosystem and take proactive steps toward launching startups.
