Department of MCA had organized a workshop titled “Ethics in Data Usage” on 03/08/2024. The resource person for the event was Ms D Sandhya, Analyst-SaaS application services, AXA Global Business Services. The expert talk on ethics in data usage provided participants the fundamental ethical principles that govern data use, highlighting best practices for responsibly collecting, storing, and sharing data. It provided an overview of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure participants are aware of their legal obligations. The discussion addressed common ethical dilemmas and data usage challenges, offering resolution strategies.
